YAY CCP Abathur was FREED!
- ON the Hel bonuses, the 5% per level remote rep amount isnt used particually much on a Mothership. The Nid especially with being able to traige can make use of all the benefits of 25% more rep, and with fitting many reppers. The Hel cannot Triage and if it has any fitted, will be fitting a minimum of Remote reps in highs really making this an irrelevent bonus.
Something more relevent please. A resistance bonus would be nice but unlikely i suppose. Also dont forget with the HP boost- to swap the current TQ armor and shield amounts when they get bonuses (more armor on TQ than shields atm). |

i quickly worked out that at 3k per torp damage- x20 bombers = 60,000damage. over 15 seconds ROF (what the bombers ROF used to be at least) = 4000 dps. taking into account the skill lvl, @ 20% per fighter bomber level, lvl 5 would be 8000dps. Thats my assumption. seems fine if so. |

I guess main issues remaining really are the Hel's new bonus and a way for the hole created when in a shield bonused gang to be filled. Cant shields just be added like with armor? Also the Slaves issue for armor with shield tankers having no implant set which really works with their tank.
The Hel could have a good resistance bonus to their drones/fighters/bombers like before, i suppose thats ok.
The projected ECM needs a bit of a change, the timer to reuse it again is pretty huge but the effects are pretty small for a much needed highslot. If the cooldown timer could be reduced a lot it would be pretty useful maybe. What about making the Fighterbombers orbit at 8km? Also will they be at all effective against POSs from outside of the forcefield, and what about the concerns from the lag the torpedo spam was causing? |

this thread is getting rather full with non-MS pilots who want to make a ship they dont own into something they want everyone else to play.
What is an MS? Its an Ewar Invuln Carrier, with more drones, more HP. costs 15b. What is a Super Carrier? Its an Ewar Invuln Carrier with more drones, even more HP and even more Firepower and increased jumprange over the MS. costs 12b.
why are people complaining? I dont want to fly a flag ship, i want to fly a im gonna eatyourface ship. The titan is more of a flag ship over the mothership/supercarrier. Make a new class of ship for that.
The cost is about 12b with the clone vat changes. thats the cost, the ship will have millions and millions of EHP, 4-5b as some suggested for this is silly, go play hello kitty. It would mean id own 4 of them, spares for when i lolzkamikazi one of them to gank a JF.
The bombers do 8k dps, right now a mothership max skills does 2k dps. whats your problem? The bombers have a 60ms explo radius which is almost as fast as a full speed Trimarked dread. The explo radius is 1750m3 which is smaller than all carriers/freighters and im expecting smaller than dreads as they are getting a sig radius increase or rebalance in line with other capitals.
So we have 8k dps which hits for full damage on our intended target. drone control units are terrible, dont fit them on motherships.
Dont buy the ship if you dont like what it does. The Hels bonus- The hel has the weakest tank due to low resists generally and the lowest base hitpoints on its main tank. It also has no implant set that can boost the tank capabilites. Fighter+fighter bomber damage on the nyx is a massive bonus, and the aeon will have the best tank in the game with all the HP and resistances- with the wyvern having the 2nd best tank in game with the massive shield resistances and 8 mid slots. I wonder if having a 5% figher/bomber mwd speed and durability bonus per level would be posible? id think it surely balances tbh against the other massive damage and tanking bonuses and anything is better than 25% more repped on a max of 1 shield and 1 armor rep in the highs. |

the Devs said the reason why it HAS to be torps for fighterbombers and not a suped up turret weapon was due to turret weapons being more effective against smaller ships like BS and there not being an easy way of differentiating the damage able to be delt onto BS vs Caps. the explosion Radius on missiles can effectively do this- a BS taking something like 20% of the damage from bombers compaired to caps.
all sorts of bizarro tracking and sig radius penalties, orbit speed and other factors would come into effect in making fighterZappers.
I like the buffed version of motherships. an ROF bonus to fighters and fighterbombers would be pretty crazy and spammy, but i quite like the idea of it :) I dont like the extra use of gang bonuses on supercarriers. If they are going to be supercarriers which are going to be used offensively I think the added gangbonuses would go to waste, its still going to be titans giving out big HP buffs and people in dedicated commandships running actual links. I cant see any way id want to fit anymore than 1 link at the most on a supercarrier in precious highslots when a commandship can be full of them insted.
There are already gangmod bonus ships out there. |

naglfail is still underpowered.
7.5% per level bonuses please. Torps are just plain impractical for naglfars, the bumping and range factor on capitals means ive not yet been able to hit a single large tower with my torps since the release. |

and ive just got 6days left for cruise missiles 5. what a waste of time that skill was now, with 59k i would happily stick with torps on the nag. sigh :( |

We have big issues with the Nags inverted lolpenalty bonus. Sieging is broken with epic bumpage even more epic.
In my little Hel today, I was in gang with a Leviathon, found myself missing 1million shields. every time i change session when im a squad commander im missing 400k+ shields.
please fix the missing shields with bonuses for capitals. |
